Let us come together in a heartfelt tribute to Clinton Stallone, the esteemed captain of the Sri Lankan National Basketball Team from 2020. Over the course of 15 years, Clinton graced the court, representing our nation with pride and passion. His remarkable journey began in 2013 when he joined the team, and his exceptional skills and dedication soon propelled him to the role of captain.

Clinton's leadership qualities were truly exceptional. With unwavering determination and a commanding presence on the court, he motivated and inspired his teammates to reach new heights. His ability to lead by example, and display an unparalleled work ethic, earned him the respect and admiration of not only his teammates but also the entire basketball community.

As Clinton bids farewell in his retirement, we pay tribute to his incredible legacy. His leadership, sportsmanship, and dedication have left an indelible mark on the sport of basketball in Sri Lanka. Let us celebrate his remarkable career and wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.

The Acting President of the Sri Lanka Basketball Federation (SLBF) joined delegates from various Asian Basketball Federations at the 2023 FIBA Asia General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was an incredible gathering of passionate basketball leaders from across the continent, united in our shared vision for the future of the sport.
