Basketball: Sri Lanka win SABA Women's title

Sri Lanka beat Nepal 75-49 to win the inaugural South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) Women's Championship held at the National Sports Council Indoor Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal on Sunday (3).

Sri Lanka Women were crowned Champions of the first ever ‘South Asian Basketball Association’ Championship for Women held in the Himalayan nation of Nepal.

Sri Lanka thrashed host nation Nepal, 15-11, 20-13, 17-16 and 23-9 with the difference of 75-49 in the final held at the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu.
